outfit meets occasion: tailgating time

Happy Tuesday y’all! I am so excited to bring to you all another collaboration that I am oh so excited about! I have teamed up with some some pretty awesome ladies to help style some fun fall activities. First on the agenda– tailgating! Here in the bluegrass state tailgating each Saturday takes precedent on the social calendar, that is until Keeneland season rolls around. Until then, you can guarantee you will see girls dressed in their best blue frocks. Maybe its the fact that the University of Kentucky isn’t exactly known for their football team, but dressing up and socializing might possibly be the only thing that makes a losing record more fun! So on any given home football game you will more than likely find me in something UK blue (thats right, not cobalt 😉 ), fun, and most importantly in shoes I can tolerate standing in for all hours of the day (yes, those booties are that comfortable)!

Love your tailgating look! It is dressed up but not too over the top (some SEC schools can go a little overboard…) Love those booties!

This is totally my kind of tailgating look! I may actually be trying to re-create this, this weekend so thanks for the inspiration! 😉 And I love how Nikki just said that about SEC schools – I totally agree and have been victim of overboard gameday garb! Dress, heels, fixed hair, etc. ha!

Oh and I'm feelin ya on the losing record…..wonder who will win the UT vs. UK game this year! 😉
