transition tuesday: plaid

Happy Tuesday y’all! This week Steph, Jenn & I are adding some plaid to our transitional wardrobe 🙂

A common question I have been asked lately is “what are your fall essentials?” I have several items in my closet that I reach for more than I care to admit when the seasons change, but one thing I would recommend to anyone, and I mean anyone, is a plaid button up. It doesn’t matter your age, style or lifestyle, a plaid shirt is a necessary (okay, that might be a little extreme) item to have in your closet. You can opt for a brightly colored gingham print if preppy is your thing, or a neutral silk version like I have on here for dressier occasions. Work or play there is an option for everyone. Thats what is so great about fashion and personal style, you have something like a plaid button up that anyone can style their own, different way and it works! So do yourself a favor and get yourself a plaid button up! 🙂
