Okay y’all, lets talk about getting active! Working out isn’t a topic I cover here on G&G, but it is a huge part of my weekly routine, so why not?! Its funny because I used to hate going to the gym. I would go, wander around, do some exercises that I thought might be helpful, not really make much out of my time there, and then see little to no results. Go figure?! Thankfully, over the past few years I have found a routine that works for me, makes me feel stronger, better & healthier. Part of that routine involves some classes at Orange Theory Fitness. OTF Lexington is a new addition to our city, and they offer their signature class multiple times throughout each day (they are even offing classes at noon now!). Their signature class combines cardio & strength training. I am not kidding when I say their class kicks my ass! Every. Single. Time. They are awesome, motivating and miserable (but the good miserable ;)) at the same time!
In other news, lets talk about active wear! First things first, these pants. I seriously can’t get enough of these high-waisted (my fav part) compression crops from Old Navy. They’re so affordable & come in a lot of fun prints & patterns! Another obsession? This vest! My momma got me this one for Christmas last year, and I would hate to admit to the number of times I wore it last year! They sold out pretty fast last year, but they are back & in stock in all sizes AND it comes in two different colors! It is perfect to throw on over those gym clothes.
Alright, so thats a wrap on my first fitness themed post. I hope y’all enjoyed it! Now, I need to know what is your go to workout & favorite active wear?!
xoxo!

I'm so guilty of going all black on my workout gear! I think this purple top would be the perfect way to switch this up 🙂

I tecently joined OF and I have to agree, they kick your butt, but they do keep you motivated, and I also love those ON pants, specially when they have those 40% sales ☺️
