Long time, no blog! Hey y’all and happy Thursday! I did not intend to take SO much time off from blogging, but life happens 😉 For those who don’t know, I got hitched a few weekends ago (EEK!) to the love of my life, and let myself totally unplug from all that is work and the blog during our wedding weekend & honeymoon! And when I say totally unplug I mean unplug from everything but Instagram, because duh 😉  I am trying to get back into the blogging swing of things, so I thought I would share what I packed and actually used on our honeymoon to Aruba!

First up, some things that totally saved my life during the trip: my jean jacket, baseball cap, tumblers & sunnies! Okay, so saved my life is totally dramatic, but we were unaware just how windy the island is. Unbeknownst to me, Aruba isn’t tropical, and its terrain is more like a desert. Who knew?! Needless to say, it was WINDY! While a panama hat is cute & all, it’s not staying on my head when the wind gets going, so I wore my ball cap almost everyday, it was a lifesaver! The wind also helped with the temps, it made 80 degrees feel a little cool at night so I was always layering my trusty denim jacket over my outfits!

Next up, our Mr. & Mrs. tumblers! Corny? I don’t even care. We didn’t wear matching hubby & wifey tees through the airport, so there’s that… Although no judgement here if that’s your jam! It was HOT on the island, and the little ice that was in your cocktail or H2O melted before you could even think about finishing your drink. We stayed at an all inclusive resort, so they would fill our tumblers up what whateverrr we wanted and they kept our drinks cold & sand free while we sipped away.

Lastly, cheap (being the key word) sunnies! I wasn’t about to take a nice pair on the boat while we snorkeled and explored the island. This $12 pair was perfect for our trip.
