Happy Monday! If there is one thing I have a huge love for it’s the city of Lexington. It is always growing & evolving, and it is truly one of the best little cities. Another thing I have a huge love for– cute shoes! In order to share my love for Lexington and some of my favorite fall footwear, I have teamed up with indigo rd. to share my favorite places to eat, shop & play in Lexington while styling some of their new styles for fall!
First up! Where to eat! There are SO many different places to eat in Lexington, and the food scene has really grown over the years. However, one of my favorite, tried & true places to grab lunch is wine + market! It is the cutest place located on the corner of Jefferson & 2nd Street. They have the BEST sandwiches, and there is nothing I like more for lunch than a good sammy. My favorite is the #6! They also have free wine tastings on Friday nights from 5-8. Oh, and the owners of wine + market also have another restaurant right across the street called Enoteca. We love Enoteca too, it’s a tapas restaurant & it has the best patio!

Now we all know I love to shop, and the shopping in Lexington is constantly getting better and better! However, when I want to shop the latest indigo rd. styles, I drive just a little bit south to Richmond to do a little shopping at Belk! There is a Belk in my hometown, so I grew up taking mother/daughter shopping trips to Belk 🙂

I couldn’t narrow down one place to play in Lexington, so I am generalizing when I say downtown Lexington is my favorite place to play in the city! They have something for everyone; there are so many shops & restaurants, not to mention a park, Rupp Arena, the Kentucky Theatre, event spaces & more– including the cutest, new gelato shop, Sorella Gelateria! Their pistachio gelato is so good y’all!

This is such an incredibly CUTE post, and I enjoyed Lexington when I visited. Although, the client had us in a haunted hotel and then the locals were telling us most of the town is haunted BECAUSE of the battles in the city during the wars. I do believe in “haunted-ness” so I was a little weirded out in the hotel and barely slept. My coworker and I (luckily I traveled with a woman) slept in the same room because we were so scared! xx Adaleta Avdic
