- Enjoy days at Keeneland as often as possible! If y’all aren’t familiar, Keeneland is a race track here in Lexington. It’s historic, beautiful and so much fun! They run horse races twice a year, about 4 weeks in the spring & in the fall. The fall meet wraps next Saturday, so I will definitely take another trip before it’s over!
2. Cheer on the CATS (and tailgate of course) on a beautiful fall day! It is on the agenda for tomorrow. Let’s just hope we get the W!
3. Have dinner on one of our favorite patios one last time! Dining al fresco is one of my favorite things to do, and with this Indian summer we’ve been having it’s made it super easy to do just that.
4. Drink one too many apple cider slushies at Boyd’s Orchard! Those are a thing people, and they are SO good. I bribed Tyler with them Wednesday when we shot these photos 🙂
5. Tour one of the bourbon distilleries we haven’t visited. The fall foliage would make a tour even better!
6. Sip a fall spice latte from The Roastery, and of course try one of their pumpkin spice scones! I’m guessing it would be better than a PSL 😉
7. Try a quintessential fall recipe. Thanks, Pinterest! I have my eye on this pumpkin pie cheesecake dip & this butternut squash pasta carbonara! Yum!!
8. Pick our own pumpkins and have a pumpkin carving contest! We did this Wednesday, and I don’t know whether I am more excited to carve the pumpkin or roast the pumpkin seeds!
9. Decorate for fall! Check & check! Target came through for me y’all. They had the cutest Halloween & Fall decorations!
10. Check out Market 301 tonight! I haven’t been in months & I am definitely looking forward to checking out all of the local goodies!
