Happy Thursday y’all! I hope everyone’s short week is moving right along. How am I already ready for the weekend?! I blame it on the pretty weather and the fact that my birthday is Sunday. 2-8, I’m ready for ya! We’re keeping the birthday plans pretty casual this weekend. Tyler’s birthday is actually two weeks after mine, so we’re heading to Chicago at the end of the month to celebrate! We’ve been together a handful of times, but never during the summer months. I’m so excited to explore the city with the Mr. when it is warm! I would love to hear any recommends y’all have for your go to summertime Chicago activities!
I just might have to pack these embroidered shorts for our trip though. Aren’t they the cutest?! I get a little bored with denim shorts during summer, so the embroidered detail adds a little something different to the mix. I love pairing the floral embroidery with some stripes. I mean, any excuse to mix my prints! 😉 P.s. I have worn this open cardigan more times than I care to admit. It is so soft and lightweight. I find myself reaching for it alllll the time!
