Happy Thursday y’all! I hope everyone is having a productive week. That is my weekly struggle– being as productive as possible, in my work, fitness, nutrition and just day to day life. I’m always looking to find the right method to the madness that improves my day to day life while being healthy at the same time. So today, I’m sharing three things that allow me to maintain a healthy lifestyle along the way!
This is a program that continues to allow me to live my life, while making the best fitness & nutrition decisions for my body. Who doesn’t want to live a healthy lifestyle while enjoying a donut (or glass of wine!) every now & again?! I know I do! I’ve always killed myself at the gym, obsessed over the number on the scale and eaten terribly in between. I’ve never known a balance between life, fitness & nutrition and this has been the one program that’s given me just that! I shared my first round of FWTFL journey in this post, including some before & after photos. 2. My Fitness Pal:
This app is a game changer! It allows you to track your meals, calories, macros, exercise, etc. Counting macros is a big part of the FWTFL, so this app definitely goes hand in hand with the program. What is counting macros & how do you do it? I had no clue before I started FWTFL, but with MFP, you just plug in your meals for the day & it does it all for you! It’s the easiest thing y’all. This app makes it SO easy to stay on track day after day. My biggest struggle when trying to track what I’m eating is staying accountable, and MFP definitely helps me do just that. The best part of this app? They have SO many restaurants on there, so if you go out to eat you can plug in just about any meal.
3. Shipt.com!
Ever think on Sundays you need to plan your meals for the week ahead?! I would, just about every week, and sometimes I would get around to going to the grocery store to plan for the week and other times I couldn’t get around to it.
