Happy Wednesday y’all! Today is all about making the most of your closet. I will be the first to admit, I am guilty about frivolously buying to buy new things. Dare I say it’s an occupational hazard? Regardless, it isn’t practical and let’s face it, it’s hard to actually get enough wear out of all the items of your closet.
To prevent that bad habit from getting out of hand, I always try to think about the cost per wear, the versatility of a piece and where in the heck am I actually going to wear an item. I don’t always make the smart choice when asking myself those questions, but they do help most of the time when debating a purchase. All of items in today’s post are pieces that I knew I could wear again & again when debating to purchase!

Plaid Poncho: last seen here
This plaid poncho is a fun way to layer this fall. The neutral palette allows you to mix & match this with just about any color or print!
Distressed Denim: last seen here
This is one of my favorite pieces of distressed denim right now. I love the high waist, the wash & the placement of the rips. Disclaimer, I had to cut the cute hem off because I am a shorty.
Grey Mules: last seen here
These mules might be one of my most worn purchases from the #NSale. I want to pair them with everything! I love that you can dress them up & down too.
Tassel Earrings: last seen here
After wearing the heck out of my turquoise pair this summer, so I thought the champagne color would be so fun for the holidays. I’ve already gotten several wears out of them after scooping them up a month ago.
Leopard Clutch: last seen here
Ah, my favorite clutch of all time. I saved up to buy this clutch yearsss ago, and I am certain the cost per wear is down to the dollar. I’ll pair it with just about anything, and if I’m not carrying it as a clutch, there is a definitely possibility it is used as a organization pouch in a carry all tote.

Such a cute fall look! Like you, I’m guilty of feeling like I need to constantly buy- even though I may not need to. I need to be better about “shopping my closet” a little more!
