Happy Wednesday y’all! I hope everyone had the happiest of holidays! I’m slowly starting to get back into the swing of things– I mean the holiday hangover is REAL. But with New Year’s Eve right around the corner, it’s time I get back to reality. In order to do just that I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom to share different ways to prep for any of your NYE plans.

Want to spend your NYE night in?!
Have yourself a spa night at home! I’m talking bubble baths, body scrubs, face masks— the works! I don’t know about y’all, but I love to pamper myself at home every now & again. Ring in the new year with some serious r&r. Not to mention, you’ll feel rejuvenated for the first day of 2018! This would also be such a fun thing to do with a group of girlfriends. Face masks & a little wine goes a long way. This face mask set is great for a get together like this because it has a mask for just about every skin type. These lip patches are also something fun y’all can do together to pamper yourself!

Prepping for a night out?!
Face masks & a little wine goes a long way 😉 But in all seriousness, if you have NYE plans you’re prepping for, there are so many different ways you can treat yourself before the party. My favorite way to prep for a night out? Getting my skin right. My three go to steps to do just that– exfoliate, moisturize (this is my favorite duo for my face: here & here) & I top it all off by giving myself a little color. This is also a great product for a temporary tan!
If you’re going to do the whole face mask thing before NYE, make sure you do it a few days beforehand to give your skin time to heal in case of any irritation, sensitivity, etc.
Now the fun part– your makeup look for the night! I’m all about the glam when it comes to a night out on NYE. Highlight, a smokey eye & a fun lip color is my m.o.. I scooped up this gold bar highlight from Nordstrom a few weeks back & it is perfection for light to medium skin tones y’all. I’ll definitely be wearing it when we ring in the new year. This palette is an oldie but goodie and for good reason. It has every color you need to create the prettiest, natural to glam smokey eye for a night out! Top it with my my favorite lipstick & I’m a happy gal 💋
