Hey y’all! I am super excited to share today’s post with y’all. I’ve teamed up with TRESemmé to share how I achieve healthy, straight hair while beating the heat. It’s low maintenance, easy to achieve & you can find all of these NEW TRESemmé products exclusively at Walmart. These products make it so easy to get the look I am going for & allow me to do so in less time than usual. I am always looking for ways to speed up my getting ready process & I can’t wait to share my step-by-step process with y’all. #TRESItUp
1) I always start by washing & conditioning my hair. I have pretty oily hair naturally, so I need to wash it more often than not. I envy the girls who can get away with not washing it every day. I am sure these steps will be just as effective if you don’t wash it to start, but that is just what works best for me.
2) TRESemmé Thermal Creations Blow Dry Accelerator Spray: before going in to blow dry my hair, I use a generous amount of this blow dry spray. Not only does this heat protectant leave my hair smooth, it speeds up my blow dry time.
3) TRESemmé Thermal Creations Ultra Power Hair Dyer: I start by using my hands & the blow dryer to get most of the moisture out of my hair. Before my hair completely dries, I go to step #4.
4) TRESemmé Thermal Creations Flat Iron Spray: I spray just a little bit of this on my ends while my hair is still damp. This comes in handy in step #6; it’ll tame frizz & give my hair a sleek finish.
5) I’ll go back in with @TRESemmé Ultra Power Hair Dryer to finish drying my hair. By using a brush when blow drying, it helps keep my hair silky & smooth.
6) Thermal Flat Iron: Last, but certainly not least, I finish with TRESemmé 1″ Ceramic Flat Iron. Disclaimer: I have naturally straight hair, but this helps tame all the frizz & texture I might have.
