3 Spring Must Haves

Spring is in the air & my closet is better for it! I’ve done a little bit of spring shopping already & I’ve discovered 3 spring must haves you need to get you through this season!

TGIF y’all! The weekend is finally here & it’s going to be a fun one at that! I’m heading to Louisville for the weekend to drink all the green beer (Happy St. Patrick’s Day too!) & celebrate one of my oldest friends! It’s going to be a fun bachelorette weekend that’s for sure!

But let’s chat this look, shall we?! I wore this dress & trench combo when I was in Charleston for Wine + Food, and after spending all day in it I knew they were going to be two of my spring closet staples. So today I am sharing 3 spring must haves that your closet will thank you for!

3 Spring Must Haves::

1. A Floral Dress: Florals for spring? Groundbreaking! A floral dress will take you through just about any spring activity. Work (with a longer hem line), weekend activities, girls get together, baby or bridal showers, Keeneland, etc. And they’re so versatile. Today’s option could easily be dressed up with heels & dressed down with sneakers.
2. A Trench Coat: I am biased, but this one I am wearing is hands down the best. The fabric is soft, stretchy (not stiff like some other trench coats I’ve tried), comfortable & goes with nearly anything. You can pair it with a dress, work pants, jeans & a tee shirt, etc. I have this jacket in 3 colors & I’ve worn them all so much I am tempted to pick up another color! Trust me, you need this jacket.
3. Rain Boots: For no other reason than they’re super cute & it has been raining non stop around here! April (and March!) showers bring May flowers right?! I’ve had hunter boots for years but have recently stopped grabbing them when it’s raining because they’re kind of a pain in the butt to wear. They’re big & bulky and honestly not that comfy, but I am loving this shorter style! You can actually move around in them comfortably!
