Plaid & Stripes for Spring

Every season is a reason to mix your prints. Today’s spring print mix is typically reserved for fall & winter, but I’m sharing it with a spring twist.

Happy Monday y’all! It’s back to reality after a fun family weekend. We ventured to my hometown Saturday to see my mom, and then back to Lexington Sunday to see Tyler’s mom. We loved celebrating our mommas, but I could have used a day in between Sunday & Monday..

But let’s chat this look, shall we?! Another day, another print mix around here. Print mixing is a staple on G&G, and it makes me oh so happy. I love today’s take on the trend because I normally reserve plaid for fall & winter, but I love this colorful plaid short. It’s a fun way to wear the print this spring. Since the plaid is a larger print, I went with a smaller, more subtle stripe/polka dot print. I love a good button down, and this one is a spring favorite! It’s perfectly oversized y’all.
