Looking to achieve long lashes? I am sharing my lash routine with y’all today! Including how I lengthened my natural lashes & what mascara I use to thicken & lengthen them on a daily.
Happy Friday y’all! I am so excited to share an updated Lash Routine with y’all. I have finally found the perfect formula for natural, long & full lashes! I’ve become quite the creature of habit with my lash routine, and for good reason. These products WORK.
I know some gals love lash extensions– I’ve tried them, they’re not for me. I want my lashes to look perfect every day, and the gradual fall out of extensions in between fill ins drove me crazy. I feel like there are certain instances where I would give them another go, but for now this routine is working just fine. I also know some gals like to wear the strip lashes, but they always hurt my eye when I apply them. Sooo, I went the lash serum route & haven’t looked back.
How I achieve long, full lashes:
- Latisse: I’ve used this off & on for years, and it does an amazing job at lengthening my natural lashes. I get mine from my local medspa btw. I started by using it every night with these disposable applicators. I take one drop in the cap & then use one applicator per eye. This is such a great hack, because these little things don’t soak up all the product like the brushes they supply you with & they’re much more sanitary than a reusable brush. After a few months of daily use I was really able to tell the difference. Now that they’re at a length I want them to be, I more of less use the latisse to maintain the length. I don’t use it every night, probably a few times a week. Sometimes I can tell they’re starting to naturally turn over & thin out (as hair cycles do), so I will start back up using it daily.
- I know some gals love the neuLash or the Rodan & Fields one, but Latisse is always worked for me so I’ve never tried the others.
- CILS Booster: Hands down the BEST eyelash primer on the market. I’ve tried others & this one takes the cake. My lashes always look 100% better when I use this primer. This is step one in my mascara application.
- Lash Blow Out Mascara: I just recently started using this, but I really do like topping my lash primer with a mascara like this before I go in with my Superhero Mascara. This type of mascara really separates & curls the lashes. Step two in my mascara application: because I’m extra. If I am in a hurry or want a more subtle lash, I’ll skip this step.
- It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara: This is the real star of the show. I’ve sworn by this mascara for years now, and I don’t plan on giving it up anytime soon. This mascara is the best I’ve ever tried. It thickens & lengthens like no others. I used to always have to layer my mascaras (and still do clearly), but I always needed one to lengthen & one to thicken. But this does both. This is step three in my mascara application & the most important. Honestly, you could wear this on its own & it would look amazing.
I know mascaras seem to work differently for different people, but if you’re in the market give these a go, they’re amazing!
