A relaxing girls trip is ALWAYS a good idea! I am recapping our latest girls trip to Charleston, SC. We switched things up a bit staying in Mount Pleasant at The Beach Club Charleston, and I can’t wait to tell y’all all about it!
I’ve you’ve followed along for a while, then you might be familiar with my #BloggersDoTravel gals. We’ve shared so many fun trips together over the years, but we can’t shake our affinity for Charleston. One of the first trips we ever took together was right after The Blog Societies Conference in Charleston, and ever since then we just can’t get enough of it. It is one of my favorite cities, and I am always looking for new ways to explore the area.
This go around we ventured over the bridge to Mount Pleasant to stay at The Beach Club Charleston Harbor Resort. The Beach Club at Charleston Resort & Marina was just recognized by Conde Nast Traveler as the #1 resort in South Carolina and #2 resort in the South! It is just a 5-10 minute drive into Charleston, making it just close enough to pop into town for the day or dinner, and just far enough away to feel like you’re beachside soaking up some r&r.

I cannot say enough good things about The Beach Club. The property has a calm, southern chic feel to it that makes it easy for you to want to spend time on the property. The grounds are stunning as well, with a private beach, two pools and amazing waterfront views. Matter of fact, all 92 guest rooms at The Beach Club face the water, so regardless of your room accommodation, you’re bound to have a great view of Charleston & the water.
We took full advantage of their amenities, soaking up some sun at the pool & grabbing some bites at the Tiki Bar right beside the pool. The have so many yummy things to munch on & sip on too.
I loved that this property was so close to downtown Charleston & the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service into town for it’s guest.
The Accommodations:
The rooms were a huge reason why I enjoyed our stay so much. We stayed in their Harbor Deluxe rooms; they were bright, light & spacious, which is not always easy to come by in a hotel room. The fireplace, decor & fabulous bathroom made our stay so relaxing. The bathrooms were HUGE btw, featuring double vanities, a soaking tub & a spacious shower. My favorite part might have been the porch that was connected to our room. It was the perfect place to sip my morning coffee & have breakfast in the am.
In addition to all of the resorts amenities, the property is connected to the Charleston Harbor Marina. More than 450 boats of up to 200 feet can be accommodated at the Marina.
I can’t say enough good things about our stay at The Beach Club. It was the perfect mix of city & beach, which is the best of both worlds in my opinion. I am dying to bring Tyler here in the future for a nice little weekend getaway!

What a fun place to stay for the weekend! I still need to venture out to Charleston. I have it on my bucket list as a top destination. Those rooms are spectacular — I felt very coastal vibes! The mix of blues and coral is fitting for the location. I will keep the Beach Club in mind whenever I get around to booking my trip.
