I love trying out new beauty products, and I’m so excited to share 8 new to me products! Today’s beauty product review features blush, eyeshadow & more!
- Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter: I have been using this product for about a month now & am LOVING it! I actually bought this product about 8 months ago, hated it & returned it asap. Reason being I’m pretty sure I was using way too much of the product, and my skin has changed a little bit over the past 6 months. My once super oily skin is now much more combination. Because I’ve been struggling with some dryness, I thought I would give this product another shot. I scooped up the shade #3, and use one swipe on my forehead & each cheek. I apply it before my foundation & it gives my skin the prettiest glow.
- Milk Makeup Matte Stick Bronzer: I was inspired to buy this from Caralyn Mirand, and love using it as a cream contour. I love that they have a smaller size to try out before buying the big stick. I like the smaller size as well because it is the perfect size to contour with. I use this product more so to contour, but want to try it as an all over bronzer soon!
- Fenty Beauty Eyeshadow Palette in True Neutrals: I am all for a small, neutral palette, and this one fits the bill. It’s complete with 6 colors that you can use to create so many different eye looks, from day to night. All you need is this one palette. I love the size & mirror as well. Because of the size, colors & mirror it is perfect for travel. I took this to Yountville with me, and it was the only eye product I needed throughout the trip.
- Tatcha Lip Mask: My lips have been SO dry lately, and I’ve been desperate to find a fix. Even my beloved Laneige hasn’t been doing the trick. I’ve only used this a few nights (I apply before bed), but in the morning I’ve noticed a difference in my lips in the morning.
- *not pictured* Bare Minerals Longwear Matte Lipstick in Petunia: I totally forgot to include it in the photos. I love everything about this lipstick, the color, the wear time, the formula. It is super comfortable on the lips, and lasted through lunch, coffee & nearly 8 hours. I am dying to try more shades!
- Dior Backstage Blush in Rosy Glow: Don’t be scared by the color in the pan y’all. This “innovative blush reacts to the skin’s moisture level upon application to deliver a customized rosy effect. The result is a natural, instant healthy glow that lasts all day long.” There is something so pretty about a pink flush to the cheeks, and this gives you just that. It doesn’t look like much upon application (use a light hand!), but the color develops into the prettiest flush.
- Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer: I think the packaging suckered me into purchasing this concealer, but I am really liking it so far. It gives you great coverage & the formula is really easy to apply.
- Tula Rose Glow Eye Balm: I saw this ALL OVER instagram for months, and while I was tempted to purchase, I really didn’t think this product would work for me. This product was gifted to me a few weeks ago, and I’ve been trying it out off and on. So far I’ve just been putting it on underneath my makeup, but I know gals who love to apply it over top of their makeup. I also like putting this on under the eyes when I’m not wearing any makeup at all.
