Hello short(er) hair! Today I’m sharing 4 must have products for short hair! A few months ago I decided I was over my long hair. It didn’t feel healthy, it felt thinner & was honestly becoming a pain. So when I had my latest hair appointment, I decided to take the plunge & cut it!

I am so pleased with how it turned out. Thanks Ryan! We did a more blunt cut, and it feels much healthier & thicker than before. For the most part I am still using the same products & same technique when it comes to curling my hair. You can see my hair tutorial for long hair here!
4 Must Have Products for Short Hair:
- Hot Tools 1 Inch Curling Iron:: I have used this for years, and it is still my go to curling iron. I’ve tried more expensive options, and I just don’t like them as well. I also just find a traditional curling iron is easiest for me to use.
- John Frieda Volume Hair Spray: Another holy grail, must have in my hair routine. This hairspray is the best for my thin, fine hair. It does a great job holding the curl (better than most I’ve tried on my hair), and I do feel like it helps with the overall volume of my hair.
- DryBar Triple Sec: I love using this after I’ve curled my hair. After I curl it I will spray it with hairspray & then let the hair cool down completely. After this I brush out all of my curls. This is where the Triple Sec comes in. I like to spray this throughout my hair to give it some texture, otherwise I’ve got 0 texture to my hair.
- Kenra Platinum Dry Texture Spray: This is Triple Sec X’s 10! I like to use this when teasing my hair. Spraying it at the roots & up the hair where I go into tease my hair. It gives me so much volume!

Thanks for sharing this lady! Definitely need to scoop up the hair spray and texture spray!
