Got it at Gordmans

I’m sprucing up our bar cart after a trip to the NEW Gordmans in Winchester, KY! See why I love shopping at Gordmans & what I picked up at their grand opening.

This just in, there are SO many new Gordmans locations across Kentucky! I had the pleasure of visiting their new location in Winchester, and I found so many adorable pieces I cannot wait to share. If you’re not familiar with Gordmans, it is an off-price retailer. They buy excess inventory from department & specialty stores, and sell the items at a reduced price. They have everything from beauty, decor to fashion and more. I always head straight to the home decor section when shopping, and always have the best luck.

The new Winchester, KY, location had so many great pieces to decorate with. From Easter decor, to storage solutions, faux florals & everything inbetween. One of my goals for this year is to really finish making our house a home. It’s been such process getting our home decorated, and while the larger projects are completed, it’s on to the smaller spaces that are the finishing touches.

With this in mind, I went in with a game plan that I wanted to finish decorating our bar cart in our dining room. The bottom of the cart has been taken care of thanks to Tyler, but I wanted to add some items to the top rack to finish out the look. I wanted to add a personal touch, some florals & a pop of color.

This is a little sneak peek into my cart while shopping at Gordmans.

And these are some of the pieces I picked up during our trip! Aren’t they adorable?! I love, love, love how this space turned out. We already had the bar cart & art, and I wanted to decorate the top with things other than cocktail accessories.

Tip:: when in doubt, the rule of 3 always is a good idea. Items arranged in odd numbers tend to be more visually pleasing. I find myself preferring arrangements of 3 when decorating.

With that in mind, I grabbed this gorgeous mirrored frame to add a personal touch, this orchid for a “fresh” element & this canister + faux lemons to add a pop of color. I love the pop of yellow against all the blue too!

I have a few other corners in our home that need some sprucing up and will definitely be making another trip to Gordmans to see what I can find for them!
