I always use a new season as an excuse to freshen up my beauty routine! This season’s refresh is full of new beauty products for spring– think a fresh face & a fun lid.
Happy Wednesday y’all! I hope everyone is having a good week! How is it already Wednesday? This week is going by quickly, but I am not complaining because we’re SUPPOSED to have our kitchen cabinets delivered next week. A kitchen renovation during quarantine is not for the faint of heart, let me tell ya.
But let’s chat all about today’s roundup of new beauty products for spring, shall we?! I am truly loving these products and have used them on repeat for weeks. This post comes just in time, because the Sephora Spring Sale is officially underway!
New Beauty Products for Spring
- Perricone MD No Foundation Serum: shade nude / I used this religiously a few years ago, and can’t really remember why I stopped. When I first started using it, it only came in one shade, which is ridiculous. So maybe that is why I stopped using it?! Anyways! I’m officially on the hunt for the BEST foundation, and decided to give this another shot. I have been LOVING it. It has 20 spf, which is a plus, and has a great “your skin but better” light-medium coverage. I shared how I use it in this IGTV.
- Charlotte Tilbury Vanish Corrector: shade 1 fair / This is a great product to correct those dark under eye circles. I had been using the Becca Under eye Corrector, and I liked it, but it was a little too tacky & dewy for me. I am really liking the CT corrector because I can wear it on its own as well as under Shape Tape.
- Milk Makeup Cream Bronzer: shade baked / I have always loved a cream bronzer, and can’t stop using this bronzer stick. It blends out SO well, and is super creamy but blends into a powdery finish. If gives you a great bronze to the skin. I shared how I use it in this IGTV.
- NARS Liquid Blush: shade Luster / I am on a cream product kick, and this blush is so good. It blends beautifully into the skin, and sits atop other cream products really nicely. I have their powder blush in this same color, and I do think it’s a bit different. It isn’t as shimmery as the powder version. I love both equally, and I’ve even been topping the cream blush with a little bit of the powder blush– it ups the staying power! I think this shade is sold out right now, but they have some other gorgeous colors. I shared how I use it in this IGTV.
- Too Faced Crystal Whips: shades Pop The Bubbly & Tap That / I loveee these! They take any eye look to the next level, and I love how you can sheer them out for daytime or build it up for a bolder look. They last all day too! I shared how I use it in this IGTV.
- Artist Couture Supreme Nudes Palette: I am a sucker for a nude palette, and this one is a great addition to my makeup bag. It has a wide variety of nudes in both cool & warm colors which is great. You can really build any eye look around these nudes. I find the matte shades more impressive than the shimmer shades, but have still been reaching for this palette daily.
- Laura Mercier Caviar Mascara: This is my most recent addition to this roundup, and I’ve been really impressed with it. I very rarely stray from my ride or die lash routine, but I’ve been swapping my Blow Out mascara with this mascara. It has a really interesting wand, and does a great job separating the lashes.
- Charlotte Tilbury Eyeliner Duo: shade green lights / this is my new obsession y’all. It is SO good. The colors are gorgeous, the staying power is bananas & it doesn’t transfer to my upper lid like nearly every other liner I’ve tried.
- Summer Fridays Lip Balm: I love the Summer Friday’s line, and this is a great balm to keep in my bag. The vanilla scent is subtle (with I appreciate), and it makes the lips feel really soft. I don’t think it lasts as long as my beloved Laneige, but I have really been liking it.
- Makeup Forever Light Velvet Setting Spray: I’ve been reaching for this to set my makeup, and really like the finish it gives the skin. I don’t think it necessarily makes my makeup last longer, but it does a great job melding the cream/liquid + powder products together.
