Happy Tuesday y’all! It’s a slow start to the am after basement water issues! But I’m so excited to be sharing a brand new outfit post with y’all. I know it’s been a while since these were a regular thing, but with COVID, I just didn’t find them all that useful for y’all. I know we’re not back to life before the pandemic, but in KY things are slowly starting to open back up & life feels a little bit like it used to.

We’re allowed to have small gatherings in KY now, so for my girlfriends & my birthday last week we decided to do a little cookout at the house. What kind of birthday girl would I be if I didn’t show up lookin’ a little extra for a cookout? HA! In that case, I tried to dress this dress down a bit with flat sandals & my favorite wide brim hat.

The minute I saw this metallic maxi dress I was in love. It is even better in person, and such a fun piece to have in your closet this summer. I loved dressing it down over the weekend, but thought I would share how I’d dress it up this time around. I grabbed these THIRTY, I repeat, $30 sandals & a fun pair of statement earrings and was good to go. It would be perfect for a summer wedding or a shower of some sort, or even great for the beach!
