How to Style your Denim Jacket for Fall

My denim jacket is easily the most worn jacket in my closet. I love it so much & will definitely be wearing it into fall. Today I’m sharing a few easy ways on how to style your denim jacket for fall.

Happy Tuesday y’all! I am so excited to share this look with y’all today for several reasons. One, I am obsessed with these cropped pants, I scooped them up during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale & they were easily my favorite purchase of the sale. And two, I just love my denim jacket & can’t wait to share a few easy ways to wear it into fall!

This combo is something I know I will be reaching for & recreating all fall long. Want to go more neutral? Swap the stripe sweater with a great camel colored pullover. Want to dress it up? Grab a pair of suede booties instead of your favorite sneakers.

How to Style your Denim Jacket for Fall:

Layer, layer, layer! Fall means cooler temps, so layering will be your friend. By layering your jacket over a great fall basic, it will immediately “fall it up”!
Mix some textures. This is one of my favorite ways to make a piece more seasonally appropriate. In this case, the faux leather & fuzzy sweater already feel like fall. Topping the look with some denim balances out all of those textures.
Stay true to your style. If you like color, add it! If you’re mostly into neutrals, go more neutral. This is a style tip I swear by year round, and will make certain an outfit feels like you.
