One of my Favorite Jackets for Spring

I love the in between seasons– spring & fall! Their outfits are all about layering, so today I am sharing some of my favorite jackets for spring that are great to layer over your spring outfits.

Happy Thursday y’all! Tyler shot this outfit for me in Charleston a few weeks ago, and it might be one of my favorite combos for spring. I am crushing hard on retro florals– and the print on this little mini dress is just darling. This dress is long sleeved, super comfy & I love that I can toss the sneakers & jacket for strappy sandals to jazz it up a bit.

Hopefully I’ll have a reason to dress this frock up soon, but in the meantime I live in my sneakers so I thought it would be fun to share how I will more than likely wear this dress. I wouldn’t typically think that a trench coat would pair well with this mini dress, but I am kind of loving it. A good trench is a staple in my closet spring & fall.

A Lightweight Trench Coat: this one from Abercrombie & Fitch has been a wardrobe staple of mine for years. I’ve accumulated 3 different colors of it, and find them super comfortable & versatile.
A Denim Jacket: this is a no brainer & something I wear at least once a week. A good denim jacket goes with EVERYTHING. I love this under $50 one.
A Utility Jacket: this jacket has such a cool vibe to it. I love tossing my utility jacket over tees & jeans, dresses, anything really!
