Warmer weather means I’m pulling out the denim shorts! Year after year, this is my favorite pair of cutoffs, and today I’m sharing my go to denim shorts style for my 31 year old self.
Happy Monday y’all! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Ours seemed like a whirlwind, but a great one nonetheless. I am ready for the week ahead. It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful week in Lexington! After chilly temps & so much rain last week, I am ready to pull out some cute spring pieces.
These denim cutoffs are always a go to from the first of spring, throughout summer. This pair of Agolde shorts are a cult favorite for good reason y’all. They really are so good, and definitely worth the money in my opinion. The perfect length, rise & fit.
I’m not getting any younger (31 over here!), and my style has definitely evolved over the years. Personally, I don’t like anything too tight, or too revealing. Balance is key, while still dressing for your body type! (But let me just say y’all, you do you! Dress however makes you feel your most confident self!). Since the cutoffs show plenty, I went with a lower heel & a flowy blouse. I just adore this combo & have a feeling I’ll be recreating this look all season long!

these look freaking amazing on you! I ordered them last year and was so excited to fit into a 24 I didn’t even try the 25 before sending back which I really regret because as you said – I prefer a looser fit with nothing too tight or revealing and those definitely ended up feeling that way. hoping for a sale this spring/summer to reorder them and size up as you recommended! looooove this looser fit and the balance you created with the top + heels.
