The Best Liquid Lipstick & My Favorite Shades for Summer

I’ve always been a lipstick kind of gal, but there is something I have been loving about a liquid lipstick lately! I have found the BEST liquid lipstick that I can’t wait to share + my favorite colors of the bunch.

The Best Liquid Lipstick / Glitter & Gingham

Not all lip products are created equal, & the Chanel Allure Ink Lip Colors stand out above SO many others I’ve tried. They’re a splurge, but I find that I reach for them almost daily because the quality is just unmatched.

These lipsticks are perfectly pigmented, fool proof to apply & very comfy on the lips! They aren’t drying like other liquid lipstick formulas I’ve tried. Some colors have more staying power than others, but I don’t mind touching up throughout the day.

They come in two different formulas: the “Ultrawear Intense Matte” & the “Matte” formulas. I find the Ultrawear Intense formula has more staying power & dries down a little quicker, but it doesn’t feel drying on the lips at all!

The Best Liquid Lipstick– My Favorite Shades:

168: This is the prettiest, everyday color. It’s slightly pink, slightly nude & just works really well with light to medium skin tones. I love that I can apply it in the am, & not really worry about it the rest of the morning.
164: I loveeee an orangey, red color for summer & this one is so good! I’ve been reaching for it for day & night looks. It looks so pretty with a bronzed makeup look. This color has more staying power than 168 in my opinion.
808: This Vibrant Pink is exactly what the name claims to be! I think this would be such a universally flattering color. This formula claims to be “ultra matte” compared to 164 & 168. However, it is not drying at all! It dries down a bit quicker than the other two colors, & doesn’t have as much of a mousse like texture upon application, but I find it has more of a staying power than the other two. It is still super comfy on the lips.

I’m dying to try shades 150, 170 & 818 next!
