August Amazon Purchases

Another month, another Amazon roundup! My August Amazon Purchases includes some amazing finds this month, including home decor, hair tools, affordable dresses & more!

My August Amazon Purchases:

Calm Gummies: I’ve been having calf cramps in the middle of the night & on top of that it’s been difficult to sleep (thanks pregnancy!). Magnesium is supposed to help with both of these issues, & I had a friend recommend this brand! I ordered these gummies to try, jury is still out whether they work or not.
Ribbed Maxi Dress: I am to the point where I really only want to wear flowy, comfy pieces, so I snagged this in two colors! The fabric is very soft & I think the quality exceeds the $30 price tag.
Leopard Maxi Dress: Idk if I’m going to keep this y’all. The fabric is a bit stiff, but it is pretty darn cute. I just don’t know if it suits the 27 week bump.
Lint Tool: Our dogs shed like no other, and I’m always looking for ways to get up the dog hair. I’ve been using these on our upholstered furniture & it does a pretty good job. I still think I like the ChomChom better I think though because it actually collects the dog hair.
Hot Rollers: Y’all I swear I used hot rollers every day of high school & college! I hadn’t used them in years, and for whatever reason I ordered a new set & I’ve been using them several times a week! I will say that the curls don’t really hold, but I love using them because they add some volume & just enough of bounce to my hair to add some interest (otherwise my hair is so flat & straight!). I don’t love the plastic clips it comes with, so I snagged this set of pins. The largest pins work on the smaller rollers.
Lamp Set: Ah, I just love these lamps so much. I am crossing my fingers that they work in the nursery when everything comes together. I think they look a lot more expensive than the price tag, which I always appreciate 😉 I’ve seen this set of lamps for sale on a few websites, but I think Amazon was the cheapest I found.
Pillows: This is a repeat purchase because they’re so good! I bought a set of 2 king sized pillows a few months ago & have hogged them in my pregnancy sleeping set up, sooo we had to order a set for Tyler! I also ordered a queen set for our guest bedroom.
Maternity Shapewear: This has been a pregnancy must have for me for several reasons! I didn’t purchase to suck anything in because let’s be honest, I’d need a lot more than shapewear for that. LOL. I love wearing these under skirts & dresses to smooth everything out, hold everything up & prevent any chaffing going on (because it’s hot as hell & inevitable at 27 weeks pregnant).
Bio Oil: Another month, another Bio Oil refill. I have this on autoship & I’m so glad I do. I put this on when I get out of the shower to hopefully prevent some stretch marks.
Tortoise Apple Watch Band: I love dressing up my Apple watch with this band. I saw it on Kristyn & immediately Dm’d her for a link!
The Comfortable Kitchen Cookbook: I don’t buy a ton of cookbooks, but I bought her first cookbook at the beginning of the year & have used it so much. Her recipes are incredible. SO delicious and healthy! When she announced a new book & signed up for presale. It doesn’t launch till December, but I knew I’d want to get my hands on it when it is available to ship.
Exercise Dress: This is another repurchase! I scooped up this dress in light blue in a medium a few months ago, but the bump is growing & I needed a bigger size! I snagged the black in a large & I love it. It fits the bump perfectly.
