Dressing for an ever changing body has been super tricky, especially with the seasons changing! But I’ve leaned into being outfit repeater because of it. HA! Today I’m sharing my favorite maxi dress for pregnancy that I’ve worn time & time again!
Happy Wednesday y’all! It has been too long since I’ve shared a good ole outfit post with y’all & I am blaming that on it just being weird & difficult to get dressed in the am! HA! I’m 34 weeks today, and I know I’m just going to keep on growing. The good news is, I’ll be able to reach for this flowy Free People Maxi dress in the weeks to come!
I first saw this dress last year, and while I thought it was darling on others, I didn’t think it would suit my 5’2” self! My idea of “suiting my body” has changed since then so I thought I would give it a shot! I am so glad I did because I LOVE this dress. It is the perfect maxi for fall & even better that it’s not maternity (so it works for so many different body types).
This dress comes in a few colors & I am tempted to pick up the pink color to wear for newborn photos?! Brb, while I add to cart!

Sizing Tip:
I find that flowy pieces from Free People run on the bigger size. I’d probably be an XS prepregnancy in this dress, so I sized up to a small & it has been plenty roomy to wear in my 2nd & 3rd trimester! There is a slip that comes with the dress that is also roomy, but it isn’t as flowy as the dress. The slip isn’t connected, so you could easily swap it out for a maternity slip to give you some more wiggle room when wearing this flowy frock.
If you’re not pregnant I’d definitely recommend sizing down!
