February Beauty Favorites

Winter is my least favorite time of year, but these February Beauty Favorites are a brightening up the dreariest days & helping this new mama feel a little more like herself.

February Beauty Favorites:

Ren Jelly Oil Cleanser: I am trying to move away from makeup wipes when it comes to taking off my makeup & this cleanser has been a great first step in my nighttime skin care routine. It does a really good job taking off all my makeup– mascara included!!

GrandeLASH: I got lash extensions before I have Vaughn & I am so glad I did. They made me feel more pulled together when I was very pregnant & into labor. Sadly, I just kept having to cancel my fill appointments & just couldn’t keep up with them. When I took them off my lashes felt so short & stubby! I immediately ordered this lash serum after several people recommended it & so far I really like it! I’d say I’ve been using for a month or so & I feel like I can see results already.

by Mario Blush in Pretty Peony: Y’all this blush. I am obsessed! I snagged this only a week ago & it is already in my favorites rotation. One, the color is gorgeous. Don’t be scared of the bright pink, but this formula is very pigmented so use a light hand. Two, this product lasts on your skin. I always feel like blush is the first to face from my makeup, but I really think that this has major staying power. I am dying to try more shades.

Kosas Brow Gel: This stuff is also a recent purchase & I’m already super impressed. It is way better than the Benefit Gimme Brow which I’ve used for years. It fills in the brows & holds them in place so well!

by Mario Plumping Balm: This product is sold out in nearly every color, but get on the waitlist, it is that good! I have the shade apricot glow & it’s so pretty. It gives your lips this crazy shine like a gloss but it feels like a balm. I need more shades in my life.

Perricone MD No Foundation Serum: I am always looking for the next best thing, but I don’t know why because this is SO dang good. It works for me all the time, I always have a good skin day when I use this & it just looks beautiful on the skin. I wear the shade ‘Nude’.

Eyes to Mesmerize: This eye product is always one of my favorites, & I have so many shades I love. I’ve been using the shade ‘Star Gold’ non stop lately.

SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF Serum: I was out of my vitamin C serum, so I snagged this to try & I love it. I feel like my skin is significantly softer since I started using this in the am. The product treats fine lines & discoloration too!

Age Away Serum: After nearly a year off retinol, I was so hesitant to begin using it again. If you’ve ever started using a retinol then you know those first few weeks of introducing it into your skincare can be brutal! My favorite Lexington Med Spa, Privé, launched their own line of products this past year so I picked up this serum & the intro has been so much easier. I love that it is in a serum formula. If you’re not local I thinkkk they ship!

Vitamin C Eye Serum: Your girl looks haggard lately, & I need some brightness under the eyes. This is a great option in the am to brighten the under eye area with some added glow.

Flexible Volume Hair Spray: I’ve never been one to believe the “flexible hair spray” description, but this stuff is legit. It extends my curling iron curls reallyyyyyy well, so much so sometimes I don’t have to touch up the next day which is hardly the case using other products.

*Items I tried & didn’t love:

Hyaluronic Acid Self-Tan Serum: I want to use a subtle gradual self tanner this time of year, but I have to moisturize right out of the shower. I thought this was going to the winner, but it is just too patchy. It’s hard to get it evenly blended & you can see when it isn’t perfectly blended.
