Fall is right around the corner & I’m ready to trade my summer duds for this roundup of Favorite Finds for the First of Fall.
Happy Friday y’all! I haven’t shared a favorite finds post in far too long. They’re some of my favorite posts to put together & the beginning of fall called for a new roundup. I feel like so many of the trends are changing, and it’s a little hard for this millenial to get on board. There are so many fall pieces that I just don’t love so it took longer than anticipated to put together. Obviously I don’t have to get on board with every trend, but I still want to update my fall wardrobe for a fresh feel! I found 18 pieces that will update your fall wardrobe & carry you through the season.
Favorite Finds for the First of Fall:
- Sweater Dress: You cannot go wrong with a sweater dress. It’s a great staple to have in your fall wardrobe & I love the color on this one!
- Silk Dress: How cool is this dress?! I just love it. The fabric, the cut & details are just speaking to me. I think it would look so cute to wear to Keeneland this fall.
- Leopard Flats: I loved these so much I already purchased & have worn them out & about! The pointed square toe feels fresh & I love the pearl strap. They do run a bit tight, so I would definitely size up (especially if you have a wide foot).
- Leather Handbag: This little neutral bag would go with just about anything! I love the drawstring closure. It comes in another color.
- Sweater Vest: I’ve always loved a sweater dress. I had more than I care to admit from J. Crew back in highschool. They make me so nostalgic, and I love this updated version. It’s chunky knit & colorful stripes are anything but boring.
- Statement Earrings: The perfect earrings for fall. They would look so cute dressed up or with a blouse & jeans.
- Sweater Blazer: Layers are always a good idea during fall, but I think they’re especially trendy this year. This one looks like it would be so comfy & easy to throw on when it finally cools down.
- Bow Heels: I have been wanting a pair of these LR heels for what feels like forever, and I think this color might finally make me pull the trigger. How pretty would these be for fall?!
- Patchwork Dress: The cutest, most affordable dress for fall. How fun would this be for fall family pictures?! I love that it will look equally as cute dressed down too.
- Cashmere Striped Sweater: Sometimes you don’t need to go all trendy. The classics are classics for a reason, & I love a striped sweater all year round. Even better that it’s pink! And how adorable are the olive green cuffs?
- Westman Atelier Skin Tint Drops: I have been on a major foundation hunt lately, and I am dying to try this. My skin gets a smidge less oily in the fall & winter months so I feel like now is the time to try it.
- Pleated Skirt: This silk skirt is the perfect fall staple. It would be so great in a casual setting, as well as a professional setting. I think I am crushing majorly on this color for fall.
- New Balance Sneakers: These are so cool. They give you the trendy grandpa sneaker vibe without being too frumpy. I just love the colors in them.
- Open Cardigan: I love a sweater like this to transition into the new season & it seems light enough to layer up while it doesn’t yet feel like fall.
- Knee High Boots: Obsessed. Ordered. I feel like these will go with EVERYTHING. The color is so pretty too!
- Clutch: Why is this taking me back to those seatbelt bags from the early 2000s?! But I kinda love it, it’s a more sophisticated version. It comes in a handful of colors too!
- Lariat Necklace: How fun is this necklace?! It would level up the simplest outfits!
- Wide Leg Jeans: I think skinny jeans are sadly on their way to being less popular. Wider leg jeans are it & I think I could get behind these.
