Happy Thursday y’all! I am so excited to share this outfit with y’all. I cannot get enough of this gorgeous chartreuse color, and the texture of this set is fall perfection. As I mentioned above, Kentucky doesn’t experience true sweater weather until October. But that doesn’t keep me from wanting to dress fall(ish).
There are SO many new trends right now, I feel like there are major trend changes in denim, shoes & pants. I can’t really decide how & if I’ll be updating those staples. It’s hard to not fall into the trendy trap while still staying true to my personal style. I think this set is such a great balance of both. The fit of the shorts are more trouser style, and the boxy style of the top feels fresh! I love that you can wear these pieces together & apart! How cool would these shorts be with these knee high boots & this sweater? & this top would look darling with clogs & a cropped pair of jeans.

I am wearing a small in both the top & the shorts. I find they run pretty true to size. I am 5’2 for reference.
